Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These terms cover using this website and booking an appointment with Angela Myers, RMT, at Gentle Touch Massage Therapy Ltd. in Stony Plain, Alberta. By using the site or booking with us, you're agreeing to them. We've tried to keep them in plain language.
Booking and cancellations
Online booking is for returning clients with an account; if you're new, give us a call first so we can set you up. Times shown on the site are Mountain Time.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel. An appointment missed, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, may be charged a fee of 50% of the appointment price. We know life happens — if something comes up, call us and we'll do our best to work it out.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account, so there's no password for us to manage. Please keep your account to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has used it. Don't misuse the site — no scraping, no trying to break it, and no spamming the forms.
Health and treatment
Massage therapy is wonderful for relaxation, tension, and recovery, but it isn't a substitute for medical diagnosis or care. If you have a medical concern, please see your doctor.
Please tell us about your health conditions, medications, injuries, and whether you're pregnant — on the intake form and any time things change. Angela relies on what you share to treat you safely, and we can't be responsible for problems that come from information that wasn't provided, or that wasn't accurate.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website and do not include GST, which is added at payment. Prices can change from time to time. You pay in person by debit or credit card (we use Helcim), and we offer direct insurance billing where your plan allows it.
Our content
The text, design, and the Gentle Touch logo on this site are ours. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking first.
The website itself
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be error-free or online. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from using the site. Nothing here limits any liability that can't be limited under the law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Alberta.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms now and then; if you keep using the site, that means you accept the changes. Questions? Call 780-306-2500 or reach us through our contact page.
